Greetings, I’m Nick Ebdon. For more than a decade, I’ve been a trained Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and Hypnotherapist.
Since 2014, I’ve also held the title of Certified Hypnosis Trainer.
My personal journey led me to the world of cognitive behavioural therapy, hypnotherapy, NLP, and the psychology of self-improvement. I was initially drawn to these fields while grappling with my own challenges, such as insomnia, stress, and anxiety.
Now, I leverage my expertise and knowledge to assist individuals in conquering the very issues I once struggled with, along with a wide array of other concerns. Additionally, I have trained and certified others, equipping them to become proficient hypnotherapists and facilitators of transformative change. Certified hypnotherapist
After studying other therapeutic modalities I qualified as a certified hypnotherapist with a GHSC accredited school*.
NGH board certified
In 2014 I sat the National Guild of Hypnotists Board Certification exam.
NGH certified instructor
In the same year I qualified to become a NGH Certified Instructor.
EX-OMNI Hypnosis Instructor
After studying with the late Jerry Kein I became the first person to bring OMNI Hypnosis to the UK but have since disavowed the organisation due to outdated and questionable ideology.

Over the years I have held memberships with several established international professional organisations* and been invited as a guest to study with some of the most recognised names in the profession, both in the UK and abroad.
ADDITIONAL STUDIES TO COMPLEMENT MY HYPNOSIS CREDENTIALS
I rarely use hypnosis in isolation and often use it as an adjunct to other therapeutic or coaching modalities and methodologies I have studied.

Before I trained in hypnotherapy, my first therapeutic qualification was a NCFE lvl4 Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
master nlp practitioner and certified trainer
Like many hypnotists, I also have studied Neurolinguistic Programming to the level of becoming a certified trainer for a US based NLP Organisation.
strategic intervention coaching
One of the best investments I made was enrolling on the Core 100 Strategic Intervention Coaching programme run by the Robbins Madanes Training Centre. I incorporate a number of principles learned from Tony Robbins in much of my client work.
FURTHER TRAINING AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
I have pursued a number of other studies and training opportunities to continually improve upon the work I do with clients. I have trained with the Stress Management Institute, enrolled on ILM Executing Coaching and undertaken research in the fields of Positive Psychology and numerous therapeutic modalities.
*It is important to realise that, as an unregulated profession, certification and accreditation, as well as any stated professional memberships are a grey area. When looking at accreditations, certifications and any hypnosis organisation, do you due dilligence.
Any training that adheres to the NOS for hypnotherapy is probably preferable, although this is not always the case.
